Thank you for supporting LEGEHELTENE together with me! 🙏
My name is Helle. I’m an entrepreneur and the Founder of Doerscircle. I often describe myself as a Doer by Heart, I strive for creating positive impact, and I seldom turn down a challenge. So, when asked if I would join and support Børneulykkesfonden and Adventure for Charity to climb the Salkantay Inka-Trail to Machu Picchu in Peru in May 2024 with the aim of collecting valuable funds for LEGEHELTENE (a non for profit organization bringing play and movement to hospitalised kids) I very quickly accepted. In fact, I’m honored and humble to contribute to the admirable cause of LEGEHELTENE.
So, why should you support this? Because what LEGEHELTENE do is so meaningful and makes a huge difference for the kids and families being affected by and hospitalised due to illness – sometime for long periods of time. LEGEHELTENE bring important moments of joy, smiles, recreation and light to kids and their families in the hospitals – at the same time as their play and activities with the kids contribute to continued physical, cognitive and social development despite, and during, hospitalisation, which again contributes to better recovery both physically and mentally.
To me, that is so meaningful and important. Each and every donation, big or small, makes a difference.
