Support Social Entrepreneurs 2015
Copenhagen Business School (CBS) invites donations in support of the massive open online course (MOOC) on Social Entrepreneurship organized by CBS. https://www.coursera.org/course/socialentrepeneur.Funds raised through this project will be pooled and made available to the best business plans developed as a result of the MOOC. The business plans will be evaluated by a panel of social entrepreneurship experts who will select those plans that document a high social impact, and a strong income model. Please support us by raising funds from those who care about social change and who want to see more social enterprise emerge. Announcement - September 2015The fund raising is now closed and we are happy to announce that in total more than 10.000$ were collected in order to support the best business plans developed as a result of the MOOC. A panel of social entrepreneurship experts selected the best business plans that documented a high social impact, and a strong income model and the money was split up among the winners. You can see the result of the evaluation here: Winners of the CBS Social Entrepreneurship MOOC Business Plan CompetitionIn total 355 participants of the CBS Social Entrepreneurship MOOC handed in their business plans. All submissions were inspiring and it was very difficult to make a final choice. We strongly encourage all participants to keep working on their projects. After long deliberation our jury experts have identified ten finalists who have been awarded the prizes. The jury has selected a first and a second winner. Moreover, three business plans shared the third spot. A further five business plan groups received an “honorable” mention.
